In a statement, Life did not disclose the reason for Barinov’s departure or where he is headed to, but said that the company’s market position had been strengthened under his three-year leadership.
The operator, which entered the Ukrainian market in 2005, claims to 12.2 million local subscribers. Partly-owned by Turkey’s Turkcell, Life is the country’s third-largest wireless player.
