Two candidates have been shortlisted for the sale of Exatel, the telecoms unit of Polish power engineering company PGE, according to Telegeography quoting local media.
Mobile operator Polkomtel, which is expected to come up for sale in the near future, and Mediatel, owned by investment fund NFI Magna Polonia, have reportedly been selected to continue negotiations. This would mean that the offers of Polish alternative operator Netia and GTS Central Europe have been rejected.
The parties were not immediately available for comment.
