Turkish incumbent Turk Telekom has announced it has signed a US$500m loan agreement with China Development Bank to finance procurements within its investment programme.
Turk Telekom said in a statement the eight-year loan will have a two-and-a-half year grace period, after which the company will pay off the principal amount in semi-annual instalments.
The company said it will start making semi-annual interest payments after the loan has been used.
