Telekomunikacja Polska (TPSA) has announced the resignation of CEO Maciej Witucki.
The telco, which operates under the Orange brand name, announced today that Witucki submitted his resignation as president of the management board in line with an internal CEO succession process.
Witucki’s resignation is effective 19 September. That same day, TPSA will hold an EGM, at which French parent company Orange will propose both Witucki and Jean-Marie Culpin as candidates to the supervisory board.
Orange announced in late July that it would propose Bruno Duthoit as his successor. Duthoit has held several management positions within the group, including CEO roles. He was also a TPSA board member from 2001 to 2006.
Witucki and Duthoit have worked together in recent months to help ensure a smooth transition.
