Infrastructure investor TowerPoint Capital has re-jigged its leadership team by appointing Saat Shaikh andDustin Cahill as managing directors.
Before joining Atlanta-based TowerPoint, Shaikh was an adviser in the technology investment banking department at William Blair and Company.
He will now oversee the finance and accounting functions at TowerPoint and the firm’s CEO, Jesse Wellner, said his presence added “significant horsepower” to its finance division.
Cahill has been at TowerPoint since 2010 and worked on the acquisitions side of the business. He has been executive vice president of acquisitions for the West Coast and Midwest, and has now been made managing director and national head of acquisitions.
Wellner said Cahill’s “proven leadership and consistent results make him an obvious choice to drive the critical revenue side of our business.”
TowerPoint is a portfolio company of private equity investor GTCR and aggregates ground leases under towers and rooftop base stations. It has not disclosed the size of its portfolio.
