Telekom Malaysia has sufficient cash to finance its broadband expansion plans but could also access additional funds if necessary.
According to Dow Jones Newswires TM’s CEO Zamzamzairani Isa said that the company has ‘enough cash at the moment’ with MR3.8bn (US$1.16bn), of which more than half has been designated for capex in 2010. Half of that amount will be spent on developing the high-speed broadband service ‘UniFi’.
