Poland’s state-owned conglomerate PKP Group has postponed the deadline for final bids for local subsidiary TK Telekom until 2 April.
A PKP spokesperson said the group, which holds a majority stake in TK Telekom, extended the former 9 March deadline at the request of interested bidders to allow time for due diligence to be completed. The operator’s financial results are expected to be announced in mid-March.
The spokesperson confirmed PKP has shortlisted six companies for the privatisation but declined to reveal who they were or how much they might bid.
In November last year, TelecomFinance reported that the advising consortium for the transaction consists of Access CF, Grupa Konsultingowa Jagiello Wrebiak i Wspolnicy and Business Consulting.
