Three candidates have placed bids to buy a 40% stake in Telekom Srbija, Telegeography reports quoting local media.
Deutsche Telekom, Egypt’s Orascom Telecom and Turk Telekom have reportedly made an offer for the stake.
Telefonica and Libyan state-owned telecoms holding company LAP Green Networks had also previously been mentioned as interested in the Serbian operator.
In March, the authorities announced their intention to sell half of Serbia’s 80% stake in the telecoms incumbent.
The remaining 20% stake is held by OTE, the Greek incumbent controlled by Deutsche Telekom.
The authorities were not immediately available for comments.
