Indonesia’s incumbent operator Telkom has promoted innovation and strategy director Indra Utoyo to acting CEO after Arief Yahya left to join the country’s government.
The telco said a permanent replacement will be chosen by the state, which is its majority shareholder.
Yahya announced he was joining Indonesia’s cabinet earlier this week as minister of tourism under a five-year term.
