PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia (Telkom) is considering consolidating its CDMA unit, TelkomFlexi, with either a domestic or overseas player.
Telkom president commissioner Tanri Abeng is cited saying that Bakrie Telecom may be a potential local suitor for the firm and that a South Korean firm could be interested on the international front.
Any tie-up with Bakrie would have as its offspring the dominant player in the Indonesian market, with around 85% market share.
