The board nomination committee of TeliaSonera has nominated Anders Narvinger to the post of chairman for the upcoming elections in April this year.
Narvinger would replace Tom von Weymarn, who has declined to be re-elected in his role.

The committee also suggested Ingrid Jonasson Blank and Per-Arne Sandström as new members of the board, replacing Lars G Nordström and Caroline Sundewall, who have also chosen not to stand for re-election.
Narvinger sits on the board of a range of companies including Volvo and is CEO of Teknikföretagen, a post that he will leave as of June 30, 2010.
Blank is EVP of the retailer ICA Sverige and sits on the board of Forma Publishing and the Association of Swedish Advertisers.
Sandström is chairman of Infocare and has been deputy CEO and COO of Ericsson.
