As expected, Telenor’s E1.05m bid to acquire a second fixed-line licence in Serbia has been accepted by the Serbian authorities.
The Norwegian company, which already holds one of the three mobile licences in the country, is expected to receive its licence in February. It will have to launch services within a year.
Only telecoms incumbent Telekom Srbija currently provides fixed-line services in Serbia.
