Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Telekom Srpske (m:tel) plans to auction a package of one million shares on 19 October and hopes to cash in at least BAM1.75m (US$1.15m) from the sale.
The starting price will be BAM1.75 (US$1.15) per share, according to a brief statement on the Banja Luka stock exchange.
Telekom Srbija has a 65% stake in Banj Luka-based Telekom Srpske. The Republika Srpska pension and disability insurance fund owns 10%, the Republika Srpska restitution fund owns 5%, Banja Luka-based ZIF Zepter Fund owns 5% and the remainder rests with other shareholders.
Telekom Srbija agreed to pay €646m for its stake in the telco in 2006.
Telekom Srpske posted operating revenues of RSD25.12bn (US$283.52m) for 2011, down 0.1% from the previous year. EBITDA stood at RSD12.01bn (US$135.55m) up 0.7% from 2010, with an EBITDA margin of 47.8%. Net debt was RSD2.02bn (US$22.8m).
