Telekom Srbija has signed a €470m 3-year senior term loan from 19 banks, the company announced. €320m of the facility will be used to finance the share-buy back of 20% of Telekom Srbija shares from OTE. The remaining €150m will be used to refinance existing debt.
The lenders are Credit Agricole, Erste, Eurobank EFG, Intesa Sanpaolo, Komercijalna banka Beograd Group, Raiffeisen, Societe Generale and UniCredit as well as Hypo-Alpe-Adria Bank, OTP, Piraeus Bank and Vojvodjanska Bank. UniCredit acted as coordinator.
“Despite the difficult market conditions, the transaction received a strong support from the market in syndication and raised a healthy oversubscription,” Telekom Srbija said in a statement.
