Telekom Austria CFO Hans Tschuden will leave the company at the end of May, three years before his current contract is due to expire in 2017.
The incumbent said the supervisory board and Tschuden agreed to prematurely dissolve his contract after the telco’s annual general meeting. The supervisory board will decide on a successor in a timely manner.
Tschuden’s future at Telekom Austria had been put into question earlier in the year. He had been criticised for his dividend policy, which some have claimed as being too generous in the light of Telekom Austria’s financial situation.
Hans Tschuden has been CFO of Telekom Austria since 1 April 2007 and was appointed vice chairman of the management board on 1 January 2009.
