Following a recent roadshow, incumbent Telekom Austria has today launched the placement of a hybrid bond.
By deadline for publication details were unconfirmed, although it is understood that the issue has a size of several hundred million euros.
Citigroup and Morgan Stanley are structuring advisors and bookrunners on the benchmark placement, while BofA Merrill Lynch and Unicredit are bookrunners.
The first call date for the issue is 1 February 2018.
Telekom Austria said it expects the bonds to be rated Baa3 by Moody’s and BB+ by S&P.
