Spanish incumbent Telefonica has upped its recently issued 5-year bond by €250m to raise €1bn in total.
The telco priced its 5.811% bond at par on 5 September, when it also said the order book for this transaction reached in excess of €7bn. Its reported €1bn 2017 notes have a reoffer price of 103.704, which represents a yield of 4.952%.
BofA Merrill Lynch, Intesa Sanpaolo, Barclays, BBVA and Mediobanca are managing the deal.
The bond’s settlement date is on 19 September.
