Telefonica Slovakia has named Martin Klimek as its new chief financial officer.
Klimek succeeds Henry Daubner, who has held the position for five years and is set to move to Telefonica Germany where he will take on the role of vice president of commercial controlling on 1 May, the company said in a statement.
Klimek started at Telefonica in 2002 when it was named Eurotel Prague, working as a manager of financial reporting and then as a director of controlling. Previously, he worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in Prague, according to the statement.
Telefonica has operations in 25 countries spanning Europe, Africa and Latin America.
