Fixed-line operator Telefonica de Argentina has announced that it has fully repaid all of its 9.13% senior notes maturing in November 2010.
As a result, the securities have been removed from SEC listings.
After repaying the notes, the only outstanding debt left on Telefonica de Argentina’s books is a US$134.63m series of 8.85% notes issued in 2003, due in August 2011.
The 2011 notes were delisted from the New York Stock Exchange and withdrawn from registration under section 12(b) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934.
