Telefonica’s tech unit Telefonica Digital has appointed two executives to take up newly created CEO positions heading up its operations in Europe and Latin America.
Juan Goulu, formerly CEO of Telefonica Ecuador, has been tasked with leading its Latin American activities.
Michael Duncan is set to become CEO of Telefonica Digital’s Europe ops, leaving his position heading up its Venezuelan business.
Headquartered in London, Telefonica Digital was set up last year to give the company a nimble, forward-thinking tech business. Duncan is relocating to London for his role while Goulu will be based in Sao Paulo. They are both in a transitional phase at present.
Telefonica has predicted the unit will bring in annual revenue of €5bn by 2015.
