Polish copper mining company KGHM plans to sell its fully-owned fixed-line unit Telefonia Dialog in H1 next year, Reuters reports.
The book value of the asset is reportedly of PLN825m (E210m). Rothschild has been hired to advise KGHM on the sale.
Mobile operator Polkomtel, which is also expected to come up for sale and in which KGHM is also a shareholder, is said to be interested in Telefonia Dialog. Alternative operator Netia could also be a potential bidder.
Telefonia Dialog launched an MVNO in February under the name of Diallo, using Polkomtel’s network.
KGHM was not immediately available for comments.
