Senior syndication of a €4bn (US$5.33bn) Telecom Italia forward-start loan facility has been launched, according to a report citing bankers.
The loan will be used to extend the maturity of part of an existing €8bn (US$10.66bn) facility. This existing facility is set to mature in August 2014.
According to a Reuters report citing a senior banker, Banca IMI and Barclays Capital are acting as coordinators for the transaction.
Telecom Italia declined to comment.
