KDG will not file its €618m acquisition of cableco Tele Columbus with the German antitrust authority this month, TelecomFinance has learned.
A KDG insider said that an official filing is no longer expected for July, but now scheduled for August. The insider said preparations for the filing have turned out to be more complex than previously expected.
However, the company believes that the development will not result in an overall delay of the deal timetable and continues to hope for a decision by the Federal Cartel Office before Christmas, as originally expected.
KDG has said previously closing of the transaction is expected in Q1/2013.
