New Zealand mobile radio company TeamTalk is looking to buy telecom businesses, managing director David Ware was quoted saying at the company’s AGM.
Changes in the telecommunications industry, including the rise of mobile and cloud computing, has prompted TeamTalk to focus on providing hybrid fixed-line and wireless broadband services, wrote Stuff.co.nz.
The company was not immediately available for comment.
In 2011 TeamTalk reported revenues of NZ$ 32m (US$ 26.2m) and a profit of NZ$ 4.8m (US$ 3.9m).
