Danish incumbent TDC has promoted its current senior executive VP and group CFO Pernille Erenbjerg to deputy CEO and group CFO, based on extraordinary performance and results in 2014, the company said in a statement.
Meanwhile, TDC senior executive VP Miriam Igelso Hvidt, who is responsible for the company’s HR and stakeholder relations, will resign in February to take up a position as director of an unnamed major Danish company.
Senior VP Peer Schaumburg-Muller will temporarily take over until a new HR director is named. Erenbjerg will be in charge of the remaining areas in TDC HR and stakeholder relations.
In October last year, TDC completed its acquisition of Norway’s second-largest cableco Get for NKr13.8bn (US$2.16bn) on a cash and debt free basis.
At the time, TDC CEO Carsten Dilling described the deal as the company’s most significant investment in many years, saying it marked its transformation into a leading Scandinavian provider of TV, home entertainment and high-speed broadband services using the cable platform.
