India’s Tata Communications has opened a point of presence in Moscow as it increasingly looks to bolster its influence in emerging markets.
“Our expansion into Russia highlights our commitment to extend our global footprint into the emerging markets and deliver an unparalleled global network reach for our industry-leading voice and data services,” said Claude Sassoulas, Managing Director, Europe and Africa, Tata Communications.
Tata said that the Moscow base would become a part of its next generation network and Ethernet infrastructure for regional and international connectivity. Tata’s MPLS network extends to 67 countries and its VNO network serves 194 countries.
