State-owned telecoms holding Svyazinvest may get Russia’s 29% stake in Moscow-based ISP Central Telegraph in exchange for newly issued shares, according to Reuters quoting local reports.
The state property management agency plans to auction the stake on July 13 but communications Minister Igor Shchyogolev was quoted saying that the government should hand over its stake to Svyaznvest without a tender.
Svyazinvest, which is currently undergoing a major restructuring, already owns 51% of voting shares in Central Telegraph.
