Costa Rican regulator Sutel plans to implement a price ceiling for all telecoms providers in the country, aiming to give the operators flexibility to lower prices, as the market is currently undergoing a telecoms liberalisation.
Incumbent operator ICE currently fixes the prices. Sutel has yet to decide on what the price ceiling will be, but it has been decided that the ceiling will cover all types if telecommunications services.
