Norwegian telecoms solutions provider Ventelo has announced plans to appoint Tormod Stien, an executive vice president at local telco Tele2 Norway, as CEO.
Stien will assume the role in February, replacing Thor-Andre Svendsen.
At Stockholm-based Tele2, he was responsible for the Network Norway mobile operator.
Ventelo, which also operates Norway’s largest MVNO, was snapped up by Swedish PE firm EQT in late 2011. It has since come under EQT’s Broadnet brand.
