The CEO of US wireless carrier Sprint Nextel has expressed his concerns that the proposed acquisition of T-Mobile USA by AT&T would be bad for competition in the industry, according to media reports.
Reuters reported yesterday that Dan Hesse had told delegates at the CTIA conference in Orlando that his Sunday had been ruined by the announcement of the AT&T/T-Mobile deal.
It also reported that the FCC chairman Julius Genachowski had refused to comment on the deal when he appeared at the conference.
