US mobile operator Sprint Nextel has announced that it would be extending its agreement with Motorola Solutions to provide iDEN services through to 2013.
Motorola Solutions is the networks branch of Motorola, which is set to demerge in January into with Motorola Solutions and Motorola Mobility.
The contract includes the supply of software and services.
In a statement, Sprint commented: “Extending this longstanding agreement reflects both companies’ commitment to iDEN technology as a best-in-class platform for push-to-talk services (PTT).”
