French mobile operator SFR has announced plans to restructure its management, and is on the lookout for a new CEO to replace Eric Denoyer, who steps down after 11 years to join the board. Chairman of the board Michel Combes will become interim president and CEO.
The restructuring, to be overseen by Combes – who himself joined parent company Altice (AMS:ATC) as Group COO from Alcatel-Lucent earlier this year – divides the executive committee into three sections: commerce, operations and support.
In Support, Thierry Lemaître becomes executive vice president of finance, with Régis Turrini as general general, and Jérôme Yomtov as his delegate.
Turrini, Vivendi’s former head of M&A, also becomes head of regulation, government affairs and strategy at Altice.
The commerce division will be headed up by a new appointee to be named later this month, with Guillaume de Lavallade as executive vice president of enterprise and Eric Pradeau as executive vice president of wholesale.
In operations, Philippe Le May becomes executive vice president of networks, Emeric Dont executive vice president of processes and service quality, and Christophe Delaye executive vice president of IT.
In December, after completing the acquisition of US cableco Suddenlink, Altice named the top management of Altice USA.
