MTS CEO Jay Forbes to leave upon Bell integration

Canada’s Manitoba Telecom Service (MTS) has said that its CEO Jay Forbes (pictured) will leave the company at the end of next week. The decision follows incumbent Bell Canada’s acquisition of MTS for C$3.9bn (US$3.1bn) in cash and stock. The companies expect the deal, first announced on 2 May 2016, to close on 17 March.
