Telefónica has appointed Mark Evans (pictured) as CEO of O2 UK, effective 1 August. Evans replaces Ronan Dunne, who has decided to step down in the wake of the group putting the sale of its British unit on hold. Evans, who has been O2 UK’s CFO since January 2012, will also replace Dunne on Telefónica’s executive committee.
