The Costa Rican state-owned telecoms and energy incumbent, Instituto Costarricense de Electricidad, announced that it has appointed Alejandro Soto as its new general manager.
He will replace Jose Abraham Madrigal, who is stepping down due to health reasons.
Soto will start his new position on September 1. Soto has previously held positions on the board of ICE and its internet subsidiary Racsa.
