Satellite antenna systems developer Skyware Global has established an Asian division in Shenzhen, China.
The new unit will predominantly provide technical support and consultancy for the company’s products and services, although Skyware Global CEO David McCourt stated that it will also serve as stepping stone to generate business in China and the wider Asian continent.
The company has hired two new executives for the Asian office, Benjamin Wong as supplier quality engineer/manager (China) and Jeff Loo Ah Beng as new product introduction/procurement manager. The pair will join David Lum, sales and marketing director for Skyware Global’s Asia Pacific Markets and buyer, Amy Lu, both already based out in Asia.
Skyware Global’s existing operations are based in the US and UK.
