South Korean telecom operator SK Telecom has appointed Ha Sung-min as its new chief executive, according to media reports. He will take over from Jung Man-won who has reportedly been appointed as vice-chairman of parent company SK Group.
Ha Sung-min is currently president of the mobile network operator business of SK Telecom.
This change in CEO comes after SK lost market share to rival KT, which is the exclusive seller of the iPhone, explained the reports.
