Singapore Telecommunications (Singtel) has announced Bill Chang as CEO of group ICT, leading SingTel’s enterprise business.
Chang was previously managing director of SingTel’s business group and has been at the firm since 2005. Before he joined he held a number of leadership roles at Cisco Systems.
SingTel’s new management structure came in to effect in March. It splits the customer units into three: consumer, digital and business. Each division has its own CEO which in turn reports to group CEO Chua Sock Koong.
Chang’s appointment as head of the business division is effective as of today.
“Our new structure will enhance our ability to capture emerging opportunities in a rapidly changing industry. Group ICT brings together our enterprise-related business units to better maximise economies of scale and create compelling services and solutions for customers. Bill has a proven track record and I am confident he will further build on the team’s innovation efforts and expansion across the region,” said CEO Chua Sock Koong.
