Slovenian mobile operator Si.mobil has named Bostjan Skufca Zaversek as its new chief financial officer.
Previously sales director for the operator, part of the Telekom Austria Group, Skufca Zaversek starts his new role on 15 October. He replaces Milan Zaletel, who is joining Bulgarian Telekom Austria Group member Mobiltel.
Skufca Zaversek has spent most of his career at Si-mobile, starting with the company – Slovenia’s second largest mobile operator – as a university student, according to a company statement.
He worked in the accounting, controlling and auditing divisions before being appointed head of collections and fraud in 2004. After completing his post-graduate studies, he worked in the finance sector for two years before starting as sales director for Si.mobil in February 2010.
Si.mobil serviced 639,698 customers in Slovenia at the end of 2011, equal to a 29.7% market share, the company claims.
