London-based law firm Simmons & Simmons has appointed Alexander Brown as its new head of TMT.
He succeeds Andrew McMillan, who will focus full-time on his M&A practice.
“Andrew McMillan has contributed significantly over the past three years to the growth and international client delivery of the firm’s TMT sector through his strategic leadership in a period of rapid expansion and market change, with strong revenues, profitability, and will continue to play an active role in TMT”, the firm said in a statement.
Brown, whose appointment took effect on 1 May, said: “I am looking forward to working with our international TMT team to deliver excellent service to our clients across all three sub-sectors of TMT – from start-up companies to some of the sectors largest players – in our fields of expertise across Asia, the Middle East, Africa and Europe.”
