The US Satellite Industry Association (SIA) announced its executive committee for 2011. Leslie Blaker from Rockwell Collins, the US supplier of aircraft electronics to the military, was appointed chairman of the board.
Jennifer Warren, the VP of technology policy and regulation of the US defence contractor Lockheed Martin, was appointed vice chairman, while the treasurer role was given to Susan Eid, the senior VP of government and regulatory affairs at the US satellite TV provider DIRECTV.
