The Russian Space Communications Company (RSCC) has won a contract to supply satellite services to the Federal Tax Authority (FTA) of Russia.
RSCC will provide the FTA with services for audio and video broadcasting, circular data distribution and video conferencing.
The Russian satellite operator will use its VSAT network to deliver services to 93 regional FTA administrations.
RSCC Acting Director General Yuri Prokhorov said: “The company pays special attention to providing services for the sake of state customers. Thanks to using our own VSAT network and satellite constellation, we have started providing communications services to the regional FTA administrations located over the whole territory of Russia since January 1, 2010, within minimum short-terms.”
