Russia’s Rostelecom is set to appoint Kai-Uwe Mehlhorn as its new CFO.

Russia’s Rostelecom is set to appoint Kai-Uwe Mehlhorn as its new CFO.

A spokesperson for the Moscow-based telco confirmed that Melhorn has accepted the company’s offer to take on the role and that further information will be provided in due course.

Mehlhorn was CFO of mobile operator MegaFon from 2009 to 2011 and rival Tele2 Russia from 2007 to 2008. He is currently CFO of Russian fashion retailer KupiVIP.

Melhorn will replace current CFO and senior vice president Anton Khozyainov.
