Canadian telco Rogers Communications has acquired the Ontario-based cable TV and internet provider Compton Communications, according to local media reports.
The Canadian website newsdurhamregion.com reported that Rogers had closed the deal to acquire the assets of Compton Communications on 2 March.
Officials reportedly said that the acquisition would augment Rogers’ cable footprint in Ontario.
The report is unconfirmed as Rogers did not reply to questions.
