Sweden’s TeliaSonera is set to wrap up its acquisition of local FTTH operator Zitius and two related companies in a few weeks after getting regulatory approval.
The SKr 473m (US$72m) deal for Zitius, Quadracom Networks and service provider Riksnet was announced on 18 December 2013.
TeliaSonera said the group of companies will be consolidated in the telco by the end of May, after getting the nod from the Swedish Competition Authority approval.
The assets were previously owned by MTG Broadcasting and Quadracom.
Handelsbanken financially advised TeliaSonera on the transaction.
