Qualcomm founder Jacobs to leave company board

Qualcomm announced that its founding member Irwin Mark Jacobs will retire from the board of the NASDAQ listed mobile technologies firm at the 2012 annual stockholder meeting.
Jacobs was Qualcomm’s CEO from 1985 to 2005 and chairman until March 2009.
