The US wireless infrastructure company Qualcomm has appointed Rafael Steinhauser as senior vice president and president of Qualcomm Latin America.
Qualcomm said in a statement that Steinhauser will take over the role from Flavio Mansi, who is moving on to “other opportunities” in the company.
Steinhauser has worked previously as director of Qualcomm South America and vice president of Qualcomm Brazil.
He has also worked as the president of Brazil operations at Canadian vendor Nortel Networks and head of mobile satellite services in Europe for Eutelsat, the Paris-based satellite operator and Qualcomm partner.
