Incumbent OTE has completed the bookbuilding process for its E500m 3-year notes that have a coupon of 7.250.
Alpha, BNP Paribas, EFG Eurobank, HSBC and Morgan Stanley are acting as bookrunners for the issue, which the company expects will be settled on 8 April.
Welcoming the transaction, CFO Kevin Copp said: “The positive response from a wide range of bond investors, both from across Europe and further afield has been really encouraging. This was a very important transaction for OTE, as we begin the refinancing of 2012 maturities and builds on our recent success in negotiating a new E900m bank facility.” The notes have been guaranteed by the company under its E6.5bn global medium term note programme.
