Orange is in talks to buy a minority stake in music streaming company Deezer as part of its new content strategy based on strong partnerships.
The two companies said that were working to create closer ties between Orange’s music streaming service Wormee and Deezer.
From September, Deezer Premium, a paid musical streaming service which provides unlimited access to more than seven million tracks, will be included in the Orange mobile and ADSL offers.
According to local reports, Orange could take 20% of Deezer, a company valued at E80m.
The companies were not immediately available for comment.
