The Orange CEO’s chief of staff is set to join the French incumbent’s Belgian subsidiary Mobistar as COO.
Jeremie Dutray has worked under Stephane Richard since he took the top job at Orange in 2010, but will join Mobistar on 1 September.
Dutray will be responsible for coordinating and implementing Mobistar’s 2015/2020 strategic plan, improving its business models, establishing strategic partnerships and developing new lines of business.
Dutray’s exit from Orange follows the appointments of two new lieutenants for Richard in late May. Ramon Fernandez joined as CFO and Laurent Paillassot was made deputy CEO.
Mobistar is 52.9%-owned by Atlas Services Belgium (ASB), which in turn is held by Orange. It was founded in 1996 as a joint venture between Orange and Telindus, which was later bought up by Belgacom.
